What are the Requirements for Guests with Pets?
While Roamer’s Respite is dog and cat friendly, there are a few rules that we ask you to follow.
- At the time of booking, please inform us if you plan to bring your dog or cat.
- There is a 4 dog limit.
- There is a $50 pet fee. This fee includes up to 2 pets.
- After the first 2 pets, each additional pet is $25.
- The fees are a one time lump sum for the duration of your stay, not nightly.
- Please take extra care to dry and clean dog paws prior to entering the home.
- Out of respect for our home and furnishings, please do not allow your dog on the furniture.
- If your dog insists on getting on the furniture, please take the time to cover the furniture piece.
- If you do leave your pet at home alone, please put them into a crate.
- Your pet must not bark or otherwise disturb the neighbors. Security may be called if the dog is too loud.
- Due to raccoons and other scavenger animals that will enter the yard, feed your dog inside. Do not leave food in the yard
- Be aware that there are other dogs and cats in the area that you will likely see roaming around. The neighbors dog, Luna is over frequently. She will leave if you tell her to leave.
Don’t be THAT Guest!
When bringing your pet outside to relieve itself, please clean up afterwards. We do leave litter bags for your furry friend to pick up after your pets at our home or while you are out and about.
