Yes, Roamer’s Respite can be found using your GPS and it will take you right to the front door.  If you use our Guidebook, you can us the Map directly from there to open Google maps on your phone.  The Map feature is located at the bottom of the app.

Check In is any time after 4:00 pm. If you arrive early, you may have to wait to check in if the property is not ready. Directions to your Roamer’s Respite and instructions for using the electronic lock will be sent prior to your arrival. It is the booking guest’s responsibility to coordinate all parties arriving separately and see to it that they have the necessary information to find the property.  This door access code allows access 24/7 to the house and will not change during your stay, so late arrival is not a problem. 

We know that you will not be ready to leave the Smoky Mountains, but we must insist on a prompt Check Out by 10:00 am, no exceptions! There are no refunds for early departures. Please make sure that all dishes and cookware have been washed. Garbage must be sealed in bags and left in the outside containers. Lights, televisions, and other appliances should be off.   Used towels should be placed into the tub or shower. Upon your departure, the property will be checked for damages or need for excessive cleaning. 

Asheville Regional Airport is a short 55 miles away and offers a number of regular flight options.  The airport code is AVL. 

Yes we allow pets.  We charge a nominal fee $50 pet fee per pet on Airbnb and VRBO.  If you book with Booking.com using our all-in-one price program the pet fee is included.   Please clean up after your pets.  We have provided doggy bags for your use, please dispose of them in the garbage cans.  

Items that are Not Supplied include,

• kindling or firewood for the backyard fire pit.  Wood can be purchased at the gas station on the way up to the house.  
• Charcoal for the charcoal grill. 
• Bottled water is not provided but recommended.
